A LIFESTYLE LIBRARY

Still & Co.

Guides for living well when the life you expected to have isn't the one you're living.

Somewhere along the way, life got heavier. Not in one dramatic moment — more like a slow leak. Gas prices crept up. Grocery prices got harder and harder to justify. The trip you used to take every year suddenly became "maybe next year," and even small outings started to feel less like things you do and more like decisions you have to make.

You weren't doing anything wrong either. You were doing what you've always done — it's just that the math stopped cooperating. The same paycheck doesn't stretch the way it used to, they hardly ever grow and the same effort doesn't buy the same ease anymore.

And then there's the part nobody really talks about: the guilt of not giving your family what you imagined, the comparison that creeps in every time you open your phone to social media, the pressure to keep up with people who seem to have it figured out, and the sheer exhaustion of constantly doing math in your head just to get through a grocery run.

We started Still & Co. because almost nobody ever talks about that part out loud. There's no shortage of personal finance content — spreadsheets, hustle tips, "10 Ways to Save $1,000 This Month." But most of it skips right past just how overwhelming this actually feels: you're grieving a life that doesn't look like what you imagined, and feeling like you're the only one struggling to make it work when you're probably not.

This is for that. Not to fix you. Not to shame you, and definitely not to sell you another productivity system. But just to be here with you in whatever you're actually going through right now, and to offer you something honest and realistic so you can still live a good life. Adapting to a harder reality doesn't mean losing yourself — you don't have to become stricter, smaller, or less you just because money got tighter. It doesn't mean cutting every joy out of your life, and it doesn't mean giving up on the life you cared about. It just means you need to learn how to cope with the changes a little differently.

That's really what these guides are.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Honest. We don't pretend things are fine when they're not. We say the hard things out loud, because pretending they aren't real is usually what makes it more challenging.

Warm. No hustle culture, no shame, no "you should be doing more." Think of the voice here as a friend who's been through it too — not a coach — just a friend.

Useful. Every guide leaves you with something you can actually do this week. Not a five-year plan, not a life overhaul — but real changes that fit the life you actually have.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're in the right place. Take what fits, leave what doesn't, and allow yourself to live a good life at whatever stage you're in.
